Every year Elaine Lui, the gossip columnist who turned her blog Lainey Gossip into a million-reader-a-day megasite and the co-host of the upcoming CTV talk show The Social, throws a white-wine soaked estro-fest at the Evergreen Brickworks. Last night the eighth annual party drew over a thousand women—beautifully be-weaved, short-shorted, leopard-printed and high-heeled devotees who appreciate Lainey’s sharp, bullshit-free approach to celeb culture. After enough zero-calorie Vitamin Water and Mike’s Hard Lemonade to drown a sorority, the crowd erupted with whoops as Lainey took the stage. Perched on a bubblegum pink sofa, and puffing her electronic cigarette, she offered up an hour of unadulterated gossip with TV host Dan Levy. Here, the juiciest tidbits from the queen of smut.

• Kanye West’s girlfriend, Lainey’s code name for Kim Kardashian, keeps US Weekly on speed dial for the brief moments when the E! camera crews aren’t following her, and she needs an attention fix

Paul Rudd, the nice, floppy-haired dude who makes women swoon, is actually a douche bag, the kind who compulsively checks his email in the middle of an interview and demands his assistant bring him his iPad. Now

• Apparently, a certain “prince” has an arrangement with his wife that allows him to get “fresh” in the company of other people (note the pointed non-gendered noun)

• A rap mega-star may also have an open arrangement with his mega-star wife, a rumor stoked by Levy who suggested two of the rapper’s extracurricular ladies live in Toronto

• When an audience member asked about this racy blind riddle in which two wholesome stars getting frisky with a cucumber at a garden party, Lainey started singing the Dawson’s Creek theme song. Draw your own conclusions

• Lainey wouldn’t outright reveal which of America’s sweethearts is so nasty to nannies that Hollywood childcare agencies consider her their least liked employer—but she did drop “Sweet Home Alabama” as a clue

Mad Men bombshell January Jones may have contributed to the demise of Liam Hemsworth’s engagement with Miley Cyrus by flirting with—a.k.a straddling—him on a sofa at a party
