The Secret Life of a Bay Street Hooker

The X-rated trade secrets of a Bay Street call girl. She’s sophisticated, smart and open minded. She meets her clients at Le Germain or the Hazelton and gives them what they want.

The Secret Life of a Bay Street Hooker

On an unseasonably warm evening in October, Chloë Marcelle decided to walk to work. Her slim figure encased in a silk blouse, silver-speckled Chanel leather skirt, net stockings and black silk Manolos, she left her apartment and strolled through the downtown core to her favourite boutique hotel, Le Germain on Mercer Street.

One thing you should probably know about Chloë before you read any further is that “Chloë Marcelle” is not her real name. It’s an alias she uses, as all escorts do, for the purpose of separating her real life (single mom, graduate degree holder) from her sex trade persona (naughty little minx, does bareback blow jobs but no anal). Dark-haired, pretty and creamy-skinned, she could be Italian, French or Greek. She’s in her mid-30s but could easily pass for 29. She has a knockout body: medium height, trim, toned and teacup-breasted. Her teeth, which she reveals often in easy, winning smiles, were recently straightened and bleached. Her wide-open daisy eyes suggest a fondness for cosmetic filler. But more striking than any of this is her effervescence. She is witty, insightful and self-revealing by turns. In other words, good value for money.

Toronto Life needs better fact checkers: it’s “Justice Himel”, not “Judge Himel”.

  • Alterego

Of Chloe’s decision to become a prostitute you write, “it occurred in a thoughtful, austere sort of way: in a lecture hall at York”, and I say, please give me a break. This story is nothing more than a fantasy, and a poorly written one at that. Leah McLaren probably viewed her copy of “Pretty Woman” one too many times, and it pushed her over the edge.

  • as

have to agree with previous poster but have to add

this was a stupidly written article and couldn’t the writer think of a more authentic name other than “Chloe” just another reason why I canceled my subscription
you really need to get a better writer but then who is this one related to???
nepotism really really sucks but it sure is thriving in Canada

  • AB

oh, great. leah’s off ruining another publication. first the globe and mail, and now toronto life. how about the wall street journal next?
by god, you may be the next solution for over population! people will be so ill from your unjustified, garbage stories that they’d just stop reproducing in hope of never having a child grow up to write like you.

  • Jerome Martin

Sorry Dan — you’re wrong. The writer is not referencing Himel by title, so “judge” is correct. On the other hand, it’s the “Superior Court of Justice.”

  • Jerome Martin

Me, I got turned off by Leah when she devoted an 800-word column in the Globe on her sudden realization that she has pretty feet.

  • Michelle

I feel so sorry for this woman’s children.

  • Jerome Martin

I’ve read this story again and am willing to give Leah a pass. It contains some fine reporting and offers much more information on the subject than most of us (I hope) can claim to have. AB — you are free to stop reproducing.

  • LillyRose

What a great topic….not. Its nice to see that Toronto Life promotes this line of living. Nice life, playful, good income..highend, classy. Why, you can get gifts and dinner! Just because you are educated does not make you smart. Fantastic that “Chloe” gets tested for STDs and wears condoms during intercourse, but she is proud to advertise that she gives bare back BJs??? Ummm….hello? She doesn’t see the risk in that? If this coy lil minx had some intelligence, why can’t see find a respectable job where she doesn’t have to lie to her children, family and the majority of people in her personal life…not to mention potential BFs? Really, how many men really want to be dating a prostitute?? or to find out her real profession after dating her for a while…the betrayal and the risk!!! As for the writer, there is so much more out there to be exploring and writing about other than trying to make filth look so glam!

  • GP

Classy. I guess you could say the Hotel Le Germain puts the “Ho” in Hotel. What a great business story for them, as for me, I’ll be staying somewhere else.

  • em

With 10 years of school, post highschool (2 years of college, 4 years of undergrad, 2 master’s degrees) she could only be a hooker?
Maybe I am wrong, but you go to school so you don’t end up on the streets or selling your body for money

  • Kezz

Don’t pay any attention to these negative commenters Leah….I personally thought it was an extremely interesting topic and you did a fine job of presenting it in a way we seldom get to be privy to. I think the escort profession makes complete sense and is meeting the needs of all parties involved on many different levels. At least these people, their clients, and the profession is honest…too bad I can’t say the same for most marriages and relationships. Not everything in life comes in a perfect little gift wrapped box that you can show to all your friends and meets societal expectations. And who cares whether her name is Chloe or any other fictitious name. And as for names…. one never knows…. these boutique hotels may see the article as great promotion, afterall, its not like anything is going on there that wouldn’t normally go on behind closed doors…. what difference does the formality of a little piece of paper called a “Marriage Certificate” make?…..besides hypocrisy?

  • sf

I’m surprised at how little money she makes in her mid thirties with a Master’s degree… she’d do better financially getting a proper job….

  • la

this is awesome! now I know why so many married men in my social circel prefer to stay at the LG…good laugh. too bad for their wives.

  • michael

I just looked up “Chloe’s” website.

On the front homepage she is showcasing a pair of man hands and the ugliest shoes I have ever seen.

    Pass.

  • Leesa

Somehow I don’t think she’ll miss the likes of you Mikey. The article didn’t give the impression that CATTY men were her choice for a dinner date.

I thought it was a really good article that enlightened on some aspects of this world that I had no clue about. I don’t know why anyone would take the time to criticize these 2 women because they obviously have something going for them or they wouldn’t be successful in their chosen fields.

I guess some people just love to hate. I’m sad for people like that.

  • K

Heads up Chloe…..Single mother here in my 30′s. Had my daughter young (she’s now nearing the end of her teens). Struggled financially in my 20s. Went to university to further my education (already had a college diploma) and provide for my daughter. Work in a senior position now in a significant corporation. Own my house in Toronto, valued at about half a million dollars. Never been married, so everything I own is mine. And not once did I ever prostitute myself out. Don’t allow your laziness to overshadow your sense of self-worth and respect.

  • M

Very well-put K. I 100% agree with you. Maintaining a sense of self-respect and self-worth are priceless. Nearly impossible to earn once lost.

  • Linda

when did having sex for money become the worst thing ever??!?? Murdering a baby is worst..selling drugs and using is worst!!

I feel that the negative comments are from married women who fear that their husbands may cheat on them with an escort….Listen wives…if you are worrying then chances are your husband has already cheated….it’s the whole Angelina Jolie & Brad Pitt situation where women always choose to hate or not hate Angelina when it’s really Brad you should be angry or not angry at…

I love how people are hating on Chloe and not the men who driving up the demand for this profession. “K” should take back HER comment about being lazy…Chloe is not lazy…there’s clearly a demand and would it not be stupid to not supply those demands???

Something tells me that K is sitting in her beautiful home all sad and alone.

The negative comments here are simply LAME>..and to bash the writer because the topic seems inappropriate?! INSANE!

I’m tired of hearing people with their tight asses complain about talking about sex is not up for discussion. Get laid and you’ll start talking.

    Loved this Article!

  • C Hadfield

Why blame the writer? She’s not great but blame the editor, Sarah Fulford, whose appointment was as nepotistic as any of them. She’s the one who commissioned a story about a bunch of losers. The story was so boring I could only read one page. Don’t know what happens. Don’t care. Bring back John Macfarlane.

  • Queens Grad

A friend worked at ONE for 2 years and I always loved his stories of wealthy Toronto men going into the restaurant with hookers on Friday and their wives on Saturday’s. Hilarious. As for Leah McLaren, I stopped reading her articles when she expressed a hatred towards “Smug Queen’s girls”…she went to Trent.

  • Brigid

Clearly someone’s been watching a few too many episodes of “the secret diaries of a London call girl”…. I mean same story, same terminology, and save for the children, same everything. “Journalism” shouldn’t just be copy paste…at least the tv show promote the use of condoms!

  • Shannon

I’m curious as to why no one has bothered to bring up the fact that this story has been told, in several novels and a television series. Belle Du Jour had a much more interesting story and here’s the real kicker – when she graduated she got out of the business, she’s now a doctor. Now that lady had a killer story. Why tell it over again with a less interesting subject?

Skip the article. Watch Secret Diary of a Call Girl instead.

  • Phil

I don’t find this article to be offensive or egregious. Maybe that’s the problem: I feel like I’ve read the same thing fifteen times before. I get it, there are sex workers who are happy about their choices and make a ton of money for basically having fun and not having to work that much.
I really just can’t bring myself to care. If it’s not immoral, or even illegal, is an article about Chloë’s job any more exciting than one about my friend the accountant?
Also, why does she keep getting post-graduate degrees? Just because she can? It’s strange – in any event, good luck getting a decent job at 35 with a ten year gap on your resume.

  • William

Another piece that ignores the realities of the sex trade. Thank you for misrepresenting the 250,000 women and children who are kidnapped, drugged, raped and enslaved to work in the sex trade every year. After all, human freedom is only as valuable as a $50 blow job.

  • anon

the fact that there are so many comments on the article is enough to say ‘well done Toronto Life!’

  • BayStreetHookerToo

My guess is that “William” has yet to seek out a $50 blow job; nor is he a hooker. The realities he speaks of have nothing to do with my life or the life of Chloe. “Sex trade” is a very broad term which includes porn & strip clubs and those things he mentioned. I wonder if William has ever watched porn? What about the “drug trade”? By his logic, we should shut down all the pharmacies and put the pharmacists out of work. It doesn’t matter if they call it codeine, oxycontin or Ritalin – it’s still heroin / morphine and amphetamine and women & children are kidnapped, drugged, raped & enslaved in order to produce it & it kills people.

For William & other’s like him: You don’t get to legislate your morals onto my vagina. My sexual life is mine & it is private. If you are so concerned about the rape of women & children perhaps you should concern yourself with the men & the penises doing the raping and leave me & my consenting vagina alone.

  • alex

What a bunch of puritans on this message board!!

She makes a good living. It sounds like she is relatively safe (bare back BJs not withstanding) and she enjoys what she does. We would be so lucky to say that about our own jobs.

Sex work is the world’s oldest occupation and it’s not going to disappear anytime soon.

  • Galya

How distressing that this article made front page of such a widely read magazine. This story reads almost like an advertisement for this sex trade worker and for the escort industry – complete with quotes from the agency owners who profit off of women’s bodies. At a time when women still are paid less than men on the basis of their gender, (.77 to 1 in the US in 2009), this article reinforces that pervasive message that women are most valuable for their appearance and potential sexual servicing.

While Chloe perhaps did have other options, the majority of sex trade workers do not. The majority of sex trade workers either are forced by circumstances or are too young for it to be a ‘choice.’ The average age of entry into prostitution in Canada is 12 -14 years of age. (Prostitution and Trafficking in Nine Countries, Melissa Farley, 2003). When the general public only sees the 3% anomaly the sex trade is glamorized and the damage trivialized.

  • MissBianca

Leah didn’t make up Chloe’s name, that’s the name she uses when working.

I found a lot of issues with this story, mostly how generic it is. But to the Puritans, even if you have education (I have a Masters) not all of us can fall back on a network or daddy’s friends to get jobs. And if you won’t stay at a hotel because hooker go there to meet clients, I can say for a fact, you’ll be sleeping on the street in Toronto!

I have and education and write my own column for McSweeneys http://www.mcsweeneys.net/links/bianca/bianca5.html

Good going Chloe. You work it, girl.

  • kanut

I have only one question? what if chloe died while having sex or her partner did. Would they go to heaven or hell? OR does anybody care. Maybe for her kids.

  • anon

Don’t know about Heaven or Hell, but I am sure they’ll be in good spirits (lol)…

  • Time to panic, Wives

I’m willing to bet that the majority of naysayers here are insecure or ugly wives or ex-wives. Carry on, Ladies. You ought to know by now why men prefer to be with someone else.

  • Julia

Interesting article, not poorly written, fascinating to get a peek into someone else’s life and obviously not one that most people are open about. Who knows – could be your sister, your girlfriend, your mother, your friend, your co-workers, your fellow student. Would that change your mind? But I guess some people would prefer that Toronto Life only talk about certain lives in the city and not others.

  • G. S.

A supposedly educated courtesan should do much better than pinot grigio.

  • Ajay

If two adults want to have sex I don’t see how it is anybody’s bloody business.

If there is crime involved then police should go after the criminals, that is what the law is for.

The real problem is actually the bible-thumpers, the self-appointed guardians of morality, the ‘conservative’ do-gooders with their hidden agendas of control and oppression. These are the people we need to bring to the law, not prostitutes.

Otherwise, there is no problem in my mind if a woman wants to have sex with someone and get paid for it. Plenty of women have crappy sex without the consolation of a return on their efforts. Here at least these women get something out of it.

  • C L

I am in my early 30s, like Chloe, and I worked as an agency escort in the mid-90s (yeah, you do the math). While I didn’t find this article particularly enlightening, especially given my history, a few things stood out to me:

    1. I did have big, burly protectors at every agency I worked for. In fact, once my driver went back and taught a date some manners after he tried to go “au naturel” when I wasn’t looking.

    2. I’m shocked that she would give/receive oral sex unprotected. Even back in the 90s we ALWAYS used condoms/dams–it was part of the rules of every agency I worked for. No exceptions.

    3. The going rate hasn’t kept up with inflation, it seems. Sixteen years ago, my bring-home rate was $300 an hour, after the agency took its cut.

    4. There are definitely in-call agencies and independents in every condo building. I used to work from one on Jarvis St., next to the hospitality school.

  • dan

exactly why im not going to york next year!

  • gag me

barf lies schlock vomit barf barf

  • Frances Lau

Chole is obviously proud of her business acumen, and ability to operate a successful sex operations.
we accept her ability to earn money but does
our society has to glamorize the life as a sex trade worker.
No, i am NOT a Bible thumper. I am a victim of
society’s acceptance to prositution and Chole’s lack of protection and sharing her potential sexual disease to her clients.
I am an ex-wife of an IT project manager who work at a Bay Street bank, whose cybersex activity drew him to the well designed escort website. Yes, he is a sex addict who told me that the escorts like Chole and Gabrielle the mid day mistress are very accessible and tempting. So let’s make sure that men think these Bay Street escorts are safe as wello. Yes, he visits them during his work hours.

i am not blaming Chole for her business because weak men will always seek out prositutes but their open market make it even more accessible.
For a magazine like Toronto Life, there is no balanced view of this social story. Yes, sex trade is now main stream, but do we have to advertise it on front page of a magazine displayed on every newstand.
can you please share a balanced view – Chole can get STD from GFE i.e. oral sex without protection to her and her clients. She thinks she is offering a service, but she is also endangering others.
my ex-spouse was infected with STD from his escort, from his GFE experience. Toronto Life readers may think Chole is safe but really, is it?

  • christine

She really does have horrible hands. No wonder she works with her hoohah.

  • AB

Hey, Jerome Martin, I can’t. Medically, I literally can’t reproduce.

    Thanks.

  • Steve

What kind of (regular) job interviews is she going to where the prospect of having sex with her comes up in the conversation?

  • GladGirl

I hate to be harsh – but I agree…Leah McLaren really needs to stop. Everytime I pick up something with her articles in it I am embarrased for her, and embarrassed for women in general…awful. By the way – I am a big fan of Eliot Spitzer :-)

  • someone

As a wife in a situation where, trust me, I should be worried, I just feel sad for EVERYONE involved, including my kids.

  • John

The first few comments on here are ridiculous.
They are probably undercover writers that were NOT commissioned to write this piece. Leah, you did a good job. It was interesting voyeuristic view of what happens in this secret life of Chloe, or as one idiot poster put up, “could you not think of a more original name”… Please, if her name would have been Shannon, would have made a difference? I can’t believe how a name would trigger someone to even comment on that. Weird!

  • Ray’s Friend

Chloe…you paint a picture of the Toronto escort world as being exciting, sophisticated, high class and rewarding. You really must have the best job in the whole world…it must be a blast preparing yourself to have oral sex with a bunch of 60 year olds and then go home to your ex and two kids…where is your self-worth? My husband ….I have recently found out has being doing the scene in Toronto..not into your type but blonde escorts female or shemale…Sofia, Ashley Blondell, Angelina Lady, Sue Mischka and Lola (Shemales)…etc. As a loving wife of a sex-addict and compulsive liar… I want to reframe what you do as part of a bigger problem that successful, men in Toronto, especially in business or other high pressure jobs, resort to cheap sex with hookers as a way of relieving stress and adding some excitement and distraction to their lives. Chloe…save your money for your kids and the therapy they will need when they find out that their ‘Mom” who leaves the house each night at 11pm…is really a prostitute. There really is no glamour in that discussion…with your kids or with your parents and close friends! You are living a lie and hurting others! Think of your kids….

  • Ray’s Friend

By the way…my husband has been on many trips abroad with the likes of Sofia who works and lives in a condo on Yorkville Ave. The scene at ONE is brutal and women who are travelling there or dining there with their ‘successful’ men need to be aware of the escort scene that is so evident! As my husband has revealed to me, the Stillwater Spa at the Park Town, the Hitlon on University Ave. where he used to rent out the Penthouse Suite to ‘entertain’ and most of the high end restaurants are the scene for well off men who want to ‘hire’ women for sex! Something all of the wives and kids should know about this man who is the respected husband and daddy…it will bring the house crashing down when he has to admit that he has been fucking around and will be at risk of losing everything! Especially when this man is married to a beautiful, sensual, fun-loving life long friend and lover who he has three amazing kids with. And when he had started the process of treatment for ‘addictions’…this is not a pretty life Chloe…Toronto Life should do a cover on the wives of men who are sex addict and living in a world of sex for sale and false intimacy!!!! I’m sure many women would be educated….I sure have been in the past year since I confronted my husband about his 20 secret Toronto Life!!!!

  • zero-divider

Nobody has talked the ex-boyfrient’s watching the children…it is really a complex situation to be in, for this man! Wow!

  • PINCH

Gee folks has anybody stopped to think about the lameass ex of hers whose talents are limited to babysitting and active semen?

  • PINCH

I am older, slim, fit, educated, and very attractive. I work as a security guard (“for now”)and as part of the Great Recession, there’s a lot of good people in similar situations.

In the last week, I have been reprimanded by a supervisor for wearing sandals while my co-worker was nowhere to be found. I was spat and sworn at by a child. I make $13 an hour.

Concurrently, I tried on an Armani dress this week and someone quite unexpectedly gasped and said “FUCK!” at the results.

Yes, my options are limited as a mature VIP escort, but they are by no means disqualified. One or two tumbles a month can make the difference between subsidized housing and flipping condos.

I enjoyed this article because it touched on the “how to” and what is needed. I’m not just sending out resumes – I’m dropping that last 15 lbs. and heading over to Avec Plaisir.

    THanks for giving me hope.

  • Tom

There is a reason that PINCH and CHLOE do not reveal their work as prostitutes to anyone who has any sense of values and morals. They keep it a secret as do the business men in Toronto who pay to use these women because it isn’t really something you want to share with the family at Sunday dinner…It is kept a secret because it isn’t honest work and if any of these men or women who are sneaking around have young girls at home, I’m sure that they wouldn’t encourage them to choose prostitution as a career choice. Lots of women who are struggling to make ends meet, choose other types of work to support their kids! What kind of ‘adult role model’ do you want to be for our kids?

  • xcmomma

This is my favourite story from Toronto Life in….forever.My roomate and I were recruited while doing our undergrad at York and we took a pass, sticking with our waitressing jobs at Bethune for $5.00 an hour and lousy tips. 25 years later I’m still not making the $$ this chick is bringing in. Oh what could have been.

  • Tom

    This message is to ‘xcmomma’…

You made a choice based on your values and your choices as a woman. It does suck big time that business men in Toronto will pay big bucks to get laid/travel with their escorts and proably are cheap buggers at home with their wife and kids! It is a sure sign of who rules the economy and what men value most! In my experience, they are all very cocky (no pun intended) until they get caught and cry like babies to save the family farm. Hmmm did they really want to set up house with the trashy escorts they were f@#king…NOT! At the end of the day, I would rather be broke and have some self-worth, than be alone and known around town as a Yorkeville Avenue hooker who has STD’s or who has to live with the thoughts of getting guys off for $200 a blow! Who wants that to be their life legacy!

  • Emma

REGARDLESS of the quality of this article, it draws attention to an ISSUE that is highly understated in the Toronto area… just visit the Thompson Hotel and the Ritz Carlton lounge/bar areas in the evenings and you shall see what I mean…

Also, should consider writing an artcile about the alternative to the hooker–that being, the “sugar baby”/”sugar daddy” trend… its a different version of the same issue… I believe there are even SITES for this, like sugar babies.com…

Though I think we should be cautious in glamorizing something so sad, we should not forget that it is the MEN’S DEMAND for this (like some of you commented) that drives this…

There is no point in calling these women trashy when it is the men/husbands/brothers/fathers/boyfriends who are equally “trashy” if not more so for requesting and seeking out such services…

And (if I may) how is paid promiscuity different from free promiscuity? How is this any different from the promiscuous man who can get his sex for free, because of his looks/charms/status, from numerous non-escort women???

What is really the issue so many of us are having with this??? Is it the promiscuity, the exchange of money, or the fact that we can’t decide how much sex is too much/not enough for someone to behaving??

(As a final note: I was impressed with the reference to Michel Foucault…FYI…read The History of Sexuality, The Government of Self and Others, and The Archeology of Knowledge…check him out)

  • Tom

Emma…I totally agree with everything you have stated….Here is the issue:

Privileged, white, VP/CEO husband who works out of Toronto, Montreal, conferences in Bahamas, Paris…. AND is a sex addict (with other addictions as well to alcohol, shopping, food…) …. claims to be the perfect husband, father, brother, son etc. Wife of 29 years finds out he has always hired prostitutes in those city and to travel with! Now what…leave the trashy bum or work through this addiction by his side. Read the Newsweek article this week…doesn’t mention the trauma this causes the partner/families of a sex addict!
MSNBC did an article on ‘Dirty Money’ now they are covering Sex Addiction…left in the dust are the partners and kids who didn’t know about this secret life! These addicts are very manipulative and thrive on the power they get controlling younger women to fulfill their warped sexual needs. Underneath..I have discovered are very broken people who masterbate, view porn and hire escorts/shemales to try to fix their pain and shameful lives! So much for power….in many cases I’m sure, these escorts absolutely were in control!

  • The Wet One

    Wow.

I’ve been there and done that as a customer. The ignorance of the male mind is on full display here. Society tried to tame it and has failed. Miserably.

Men like no strings attached sex. Not every man is into the family thing, but generally no other option exists.

Women are all about having the freedom to do what they want (or so feminists told them) but if a woman chooses to do this, well watch the heck out. The shame train is coming for you.

Having known (biblically and otherwise) a few call girls, and having enjoyed them from coast to coast, I have no problem with them. They are people just like everyone else. I was alway decent to them, and they were almost aways decent to me (one was a fraudster, but that was interesting all the same).

Finally, I have never understood this. Why are STI’s worse than any other infection? All kinds of infections are out there and yet STI’s seem to be worse than the plague. Can anyone explain that to me? I just don’t get it.

Marriage is hard people. Monogamy for males is a real hill to climb and more than a few fall down on the climb (and not a few women I might add). Ideas around marital monogamy are perverse. Historically, it was never expected that men be monogamous. As has been noted by some commentators, marriage after the sexual revolution shackled men with the same strictures on sex that married women always had. How on Earth did this constitute an improvement for everyone? Wouldn’t women’s freedom amount to women have the same ability to cat around as men or was I missing something?

    Anyways…

We all know it isn’t going to change. I’m glad I enjoyed the life for a time. I’ll have memories to cherish for the rest of my days and I made up for a long long long self imposed drought. Thank God for escorts. They are truly a gift to the world.

I sincerely hope that I can say the same about a wife should I have one, but given the divorce rate and the ideas around marriage (some of which are repellent to me), I’m not entirely sure I’ll be thanking God for the institution of marriage.

  • NR

To the puritans and those offended: get a life; there is nothing objectively ‘wrong’ with prostitution or those who choose to engage. What a woman chooses to do with her body is her own choice.

To the wives and ex-wives: it is NOT the fault of prostitution in general, or any individual prostitute, that your husband/spouse was tempted to stray; the argument simply has no merit.

As to the article itself: it is not perfect; there are many aspects to the sextrade and sex work, and this article focuses on one. However ‘fictionalized’, there is little inaccurate or overly-sensational; it simply portrays one of many types of prostitute and associated business model.

  • Tomasina

This comment is for ‘Wet One”..when you find a girl who you really do love and feel you could spend the rest of your life with…sounds to me like you may have to give up the selfish, narcasistic life of an immature male. Most great women want a guy who isn’t addicted to porn, prostitutes or shallow grade six stuff that you referred to!
Grow up….or enjoy being 80 years old hiring hookers and having no life!!!! Go down to ONE or any other Toronto hotels and you will see pathetic men with lame ass whores!
Hmmmm…what kind of legacy is that for your family? Do you want your life to be about escorts or about having a real experince with someone who not only loves you for who you are?
PS Get tested for STD’s …many I know are dealing with nasty herpes issues, HIV etc.

  • jayredo

The government needs to regulate this industry and make these people pay taxes. It must be great to make that much and not get taxed but still utilize all the services of tax paying citizens. Who knows she might me on welfare as well.

  • http://www.facebook.com/zoly.walker Zoly Walker

Yes, you are dead wrong, a slave job does not pay 100000 after tax for a 20h a week work, what utopia are you leaving on? Schools are cash-flow machines producing more students than it’s needed generally…

  • http://www.facebook.com/zoly.walker Zoly Walker

No, the government need to dissolve 75% of itself, and reduce everyone’s taxes. Those risky trades should be recognized as tax free and awarded bonuses from government as a unique service to society, like firefighers. Open your mind Torontonians, this is XXI century, liberate your minds from fears of 300 years of collonialism and post-collonialism.

That is not the solution Dear, go preach honesty to regular wifes to keep their love up as nicely as in pre-marital phase…that lie has a price, and if anyone it’s infected, the source of the problem (the wife) is not immune and it should not be. I am surprised the wifes are not discussed in the article. What a shame for Toronto, to keep this lack of dialog under social-acceptance wraps.

read my post on wife’s responsibilities – if she does not know him happy, why keep him suffering in a marrige, admit fault on women side and dissolve it, takes courage and character which some women do not have…nor their men

wrong, it is kept a secret because people are bigots, ostrich wanted to hide from the truth, do you think those men run from monogam relationships? Get more life experience buddy, I say they run from zero-gam relationships, make-up sex once every 3 months – it’s not a monogamus relationship, as I say to my wife, it’s a zero-gamus relationship. She sais: go where you want, do what you want,,,what the F–K you want those men to do. Easy to judge. There should be a low fining the wifes. the future will bring it. The current fine is called syphilis, genital warts (condom don’t help) AIDS :) but as we modernize, it would become monetary. Women reading the post, dare to go to your physician office and ask for a full battery of STD testing? I thought so. The truth was spoken.

I’m 25 and found out like a week ago that I’m 4weeks pregnant, with my boyfriend’s baby and then he wanted to breakup when i told, I had to way to make him stay then a friend led me to a spell lady online, her email is priestessifaa@yahoo.com, she then had a spell done for me that bring him back to my lover and everything back to normal. She is too powerful as her spell worked perfectly for. I would bless you for not let me go through this alone.

BSHToo: I get your indignation but your analogy to the slave trade and the pharmaceutical industry doesn’t pass the laugh test.

Opium poppy cultivation is undertaken for pharmaceutical use by at least nineteen countries in the world (Australia, Austria, China, the Czech Republic, Estonia, France, Germany, Hungary, Japan, India, the Netherlands, Poland, Romania, Slovakia, South Korea, Spain, Macedonia, Turkey, Tasmania, and the United Kingdom) only four of them produce opium: China, India, Japan and South Korea.
Among these India is the only exporter of opium.

Remarkably, Tasmania prodices about half the world’s exports of medicinal opiates–and you won’t find a lot of slave trade there.

Also, the cold, hard, legal facts is that under a common law system, the citizenry does get to legislate in certain ways the morality of what we do to our bodies. As an example, consider the ramifications of Roe V. Wade. Essentially it placed restrictions on what a woman could do to her uterus if carrying a fetus. In theory, draconian laws, though highly improbable, could result in sex for pay as being outlawed, and that would be as a reult of a law passed in congress because groups with certain morals had enough clout to influence legislators.

And for what it’s worth, there has been great concern by men (who far and away outnumber women at both the state and federal level in the legislature) and action taken to reduce aggression by men against women.

Like it or not, you live in a country that has the power to dictate–in principle–what limitations can be imposed on the use of our bodies if such use runs counter to the greater public good.

Don’t believe me? Spend the next few years driving with out a seat belt and, if you are ticketed, tell the court to leave you and your consenting body alone.
