4. The juxtaposition of the “Global manhunt for Canadian students” headline with a band poster-esque photo of young people is totally misleading. There’s no manhunt, the students are right there! Oh wait — different stories.

   I think the glossy colour is nice, but the front page layout reminds me of a corporate newsletter. That “everyday hero” thing especially. Cheeeeezy.

6. OK, so the Saturday one looks TOTALLY DIFFERENT OMG!

7. Totally underwhelming.
   First day of the big launch and you’ve got a wall of grey type and some guy in a life jacket above the fold? Uh, I don’t think so.
