Sue-Ann Levy finds new and creative ways to bash unions, Margaret Atwood
Mayor Rob Ford’s personal stenographer Toronto Sun columnist Sue-Ann Levy believes that Tim Hudak only has himself—and not Rob Ford—to blame for his monumental meltdown in last week’s provincial election. According to Levy, Hudak’s failure to embrace Toronto’s diverse population, his inability to convince voters he could reign in spending (and lower the HST) and his anti-gay campaign flyers contributed to his loss more than Ford ever did. Hmmm. A conservative politician who appears to reject Toronto’s diversity while also being decried by many as homophobic? That doesn’t sound a touch familiar, does it? Of course, Levy’s too busy ripping on unions and Margaret Atwood to tackle that question. Read the entire story [Toronto Sun] »
hello…earth to Toronto Life ..Sue Anne levy is the only voice out there who is not a deficit denier – its time for unions and others to come up with solutions – not just bash Ford – and it would be more accurate to say that Hudac’s lack of vision and meaningful platform for change is what sunk him – voters stuck with what they knew – including a huge Ontario debt and a premier who tax and spends like water and then lies about it.
Sue Ann Levy is, bar none, the worst journalist I’ve ever read. Her pieces are borderline insane. I don’t see how anyone can take her seriously at all.
Hello… Earth to Craig… “Sue Anne levy is the only voice out there who is not a deficit denier”. That would be impressive if Toronto wasn’t expecting a $140 Million SURPLUS for this year: http://www.cbc.ca/news/canada/toronto/story/2011/10/11/toronto-surplus-land-transfer-tax548.html
So your comment only proves how delusional that Rob Ford’s ass kisser is.
@Stephanie, I couldn’t agree MORE. If this is Ms. Levy’s idea of journalism, I believe she should seek a refund on her MBA.
Sue Ann Levy has written the same article approximately 365 times now. She is boring, bitter and should find some happiness in her life.
20% rational posts (Congratulations, Craig!) and 80% the usual left-wing loony diatribes-about what I expect from Toronto Life. If leeches like this publication and the CBC had to rely solely on circulation and advertising revenues they would soon wither and disappear as nature intends.Instead, the productive, non-leeches in society (the people who, literally and figuratively, do the heavy lifting) have their hard-earned money extorted by leech-enabling governments and handed over to said leeches in the guise of “cultural grants”. The redeeming fact in this disgrace is that ultimately, numbers do not lie. The commies will be dragged kicking and screaming in to reality if need be, or they could choose to dalvage some dignity and accept that change is on its way.
