Street Style: Queen West shopkeepers

Queen West grows more upscale every year, but the neighbourhood denizens have maintained a decidedly downtown sense of style: edgy, heavy on black and often deliberately scruffy. We visited the shop girls and boys at the area’s boutiques on a Monday afternoon and found plenty to like (even though many save their best duds for the weekend when stores are busier). Our favourites: a freestyle asymmetrical haircut,  covetable ombré jeans, and a purple blazer with a patterned shirt and pocket square.

I disagree. Most look like they’ve made an effort to look decent and presentable, except for guy #3, who just plain scares me, and lady #6, who is a complete mess, starting with her hair. However, all the others look great, especially lady #12 who is very well put-together (and her make-up is perfect), and lady #15 – she looks good in that sweater.
