A new online destination for handcrafted Oxfords and tobacco-scented beard oil
Park and Province, a new Toronto-based online menswear shop, carries all the clothing, accessories and grooming products that a modern-day gentleman could want. The site, which launched just last month, specializes in classic men’s basics updated with contemporary flourishes, like a bold Hawaiian-print yoke on a basic cotton button-down, or an edgy camouflage print on a pair of handcrafted Oxfords from California cobbler Thorocraft. A stock of carefully curated accessories completes the look: leather-brimmed baseball caps, pocket squares printed with drawings of exotic beasts, and, for especially hirsute guys, a tobacco-scented oil designed to tame and moisturize unruly beards. The overall look is equal parts preppy, geeky and whimsically retro—like the style love child of a JCrew outlet and a cool consignment shop.

The shirt is $95, the shoes are $220, and the baseball cap is an ASTOUNDING $75!
None of those prices are unusual for higher end menswear – in fact, you can pay a lot more for nice shirts and shoes. The high prices on baseball caps and sweatshirts also make me eye roll, but sadly it isn’t out of the ordinary.
