Toronto’s Best Dressed 2012: the city’s 25 most stylish people

25 Most Stylish

Toronto is a good-looking town, with no shortage of beautiful people in beautiful clothes. But only a few are bona fide head-turners: city characters who take fashion to the next level. We celebrate them with our second annual list of Toronto’s best dressed.

See all 25 of Toronto’s best dressed »

The Most Stylish list was compiled by our judges: socialite Stacey Kimel; The Society’s Ashleigh Dempster and Amanda Blakley; designer Jeremy Laing; and Toronto Life’s Kevin Naulls. Styling by Corey Ng/p1m.ca; hair and makeup by Vanessa Jarman/p1m.ca using Rimmel London and TreSemmé

I’m sorry but some of these people look like a closet barfed on them…

  • Anon

Hahah, agreed! More like worst dressed. These people are in a fashion bubble and think they are OH.SO.GLAM. But they are not.

  • V

I couldn’t agree more with the comments above. I especially don’t understand how the Beckerman’s are consistently considered part of Toronto’s fashion elite. I think they look like they don’t own a mirror. Throwing on everything you own does not make you stylish or fashion forward, it makes you look like an indecisive mess. That being said, I do love Amina Said, Chloe Wise and Kealan Sullivan for being true style savants.

  • Stephka

Seriously…. 4 Beckermans. Come on there’s gotta be more out there. Couldn’t they put them all as one? There are so much more out there.

Stop trying to get on their invite lists and get out there.

These are all wealthy folks! This almost shouldn’t count since it’s pretty darn easy to be well dressed when you can pay someone with style and taste to dress you and shop in the trendiest stores without a budget. What would be fantastic to actually see is those with true style dressing on a budget. That’s the true test of personal style. I’d love to see more representation from Toronto’s artists, writers, creative folks that weren’t born with a silver spoon in their mouth.

  • Semper Communication

    money money money.
    in toronto you buy style.
    (however great curating kevin.)

  • NS

Apparently poor or humble folk cannot dress well.

  • Jacob

majority of the people on the list aren’t considered “wealthy folks” and aren’t relying on expensive designer pieces to look good. read the clothing credits before you make any judgement.

  • pz

  • missbutter

    Where is Rolyn Chambers?

  • Methinks

No one can beat Audrey Hepburn for style. Everyone on this list can take a backseat.

I don’t get why I am NOT on this Toronto’s Best Dressed list? Uh… Hello?! Sheesh, what a snub. :D.

  • Aria

Style is such a subjective thing. There are some bizzare looking people on this list. But one thing that all have in common is that they aren’t afraid to dress how they want. I kind of admire them for that.

  • http://www.facebook.com/rick.sullivan.984786 Rick Sullivan

one of them is wearing an afghan over a table cloth! c’mon Toronto get a clue.

  • disqus_HVB0O7lgcO

  • Wonderland

    Am I looking through someone’s

high school year book?!?!?!? Toronto’s best dressed? Who decide’s this?!?!

    Stick to relevant subjects, such as introducing new innovative young artists;
educating Torontonians about new ways of doing things, people making positive
waves and contributions to the city etc..
