Robin Kay lives in a hotel, and there’s not a spot of colour in the place

Have you ever wondered where FDCC president Robin Kay lives? We’d be lying if we said we hadn’t made some assumptions about what her place looks like, and now, thanks to seasoned style scribe Rita Zekas, it’s been confirmed that it’s somewhat less ostentatious than her signature looks. Kay owns a swanky 2,500-square-foot suite in a downtown “hotel/condo” that seems to take its powder-white decor cues from the Fashion Week tents themselves. Kay claims that despite the whiteness, she encourages guests to eat and drink whatever they want, but we’d still be wary of pulling out a hot dog. Kay is such a stickler for detail, even her dogs are colour-coordinated with the decor. The space boasts a huge balcony, a walk-in closet big enough for both furs and skeletons, and an ironic collection of Mao statues. She’s the president of the FDCC, and she’s political.
