Vogue’s André Leon Talley will “never” come to Toronto fashion week
In a Q&A with the Globe, Vogue’s André Leon Talley is asked what it would take for him to come to Toronto fashion week. His response: nothing. “I’m too busy. I just would never be able to. My schedule just can’t permit it.” Not that we’re surprised.

Why would he bother? Toronto isn’t exactly burning up the runways.
Most collections have been a big yawn.
That is really a shame because Canada has some great talent. If the rest of the fashion world won’t take them seriously how are they ever going to make it globally. Designers shouldn’t have to move to make it. We talked to some of Canada’s best designer and their picks for fashion trends are the same as any global designer would be. We hope the rest of the world doesn’t feel the same way and gives Canadians more of a chance.
