This is my third season styling for VAWK. I’ve known Sunny for years, since he initially launched his VAWK label in 2004 before he had to put it to rest. Needless to say I was ecstatic when he won Project Runway Season 2 and was able to resurrect his line.
He is one of the most talented and detail oriented designers I know. Working with someone like him makes my job very, very easy. I help decide the models at castings, what outfit each girl is wearing, the order they will be walking as well as the choreography of the show as well as pulling footwear that best goes with the collection for the season.
