By noon, this Buddhist-influenced spot on the Baldwin strip is bustling with chatty students and U of T and OCAD professors. The international vegan menu features an imaginative selection of fake meat offerings, including salmon and king prawns. For those acquainted with the taste and texture of real meat, the dishes may not satisfy, but for vegans, it’s one of the few places to get meaty tofu drumsticks (deep-fried soy, bamboo shoot, mushroom and carrot balls on a sugar cane “bone”).
