Generic house beats set a relaxed dinner mood, and giant video screens show anything from Cirque du Soleil to the NBA game. Chef Jonaton Lome offers a protein-heavy menu of risk-free bistro fare. The execution is uneven. A huge, tender braised short rib appetizer delivers exceptional value at $14, with a sweet, succulent barbecue sauce balanced nicely by peppery napa slaw. The meal’s high point is a beautifully seasoned roasted lamb loin, cooked to perfect medium-rare and resting on roasted cremini and chanterelles, lentils and a deliciously acidulated grainy mustard sauce. A linguine main of shrimp and herbed garlic oil is mired in a BP-style slick. Mains $19–$28.
