Occupying an awkward position between restaurant and grocery store, the Kensington Market location offers a menu of taco and nacho options in addition to the soups, cheeses and chilies you’d need to make Mexican fare of your own. Calabacitas, a sweetish vegetarian taco option of zucchini, tomato and corn, is reason enough to stick around, as is the smoky alambre beef filling. The chicken mole, however, lacks its requisite spice, and the shredded tinga is too tart with vinegar and onions.
