Awkwardly doubling as both restaurant and grocery store, the Kensington Market location offers a menu of taco and nacho options in addition to the soups, cheeses and chilies you’d need to make Mexican fare at home. Calabacitas, a sweetish vegetarian taco stuffed with zucchini, tomato and corn, is reason enough to stick around, as is the smoky alambre beef filling. The chicken mole, however, lacks its requisite spice, and the shredded tinga is too tart.
