This restaurant trades in over-the-top, ’90s-style fine dining, and the food is as luxe as the decor. Smoky grilled quail perches atop a mound of Nebraska stuffing: a mélange of cherries, braised short rib and buttery bread crumbs. Bison tenderloin, pink and luscious in a foie gras jus, is sided by mascarpone-enriched mashed potatoes. A rare rack of venison is primal in all its earthy, bloody glory, with silky sweet potato mash and a garnish of crispy potato chips and pomegranate seeds. The air carries the aroma of truffle, happy chatter and poorly chosen, yet mercifully quiet, dance music. What you won’t find here is pretension or attitude. Diners in everything from Joe Fresh to Gucci chill in the relaxed atmosphere. Mains $20–$49.
