Though it feels a little like a biker bar, the— Black Bull is an Everyman joint where regulars hunch over their brews, sometimes mumbling not so quietly to themselves. The decor is determinedly dour, with brown banquettes and nondescript tables lurking below the usual beer paraphernalia. The only distinguishing features are the bull’s head that presides over the Queen Street entrance, occasional displays of local art, and the exceedingly popular patio.
