Real Estate

Condo of the Week: $4 million for a massive suite in a grand Bridle Path building

Condo of the Week: 1 Post Road Toronto

Address: 1 Post Road, Unit 210
Neighbourhood: Bridle Path-Sunnybrook-York Mills
Agent: Janice Fox, Hazelton Real Estate Inc., Brokerage
Price: $3,995,000

The Place: A roomy two-bedroom suite on the third floor of a château-inspired building in the Bridle Path.

Bragging Rights: The views over the landscaped grounds make it easy to pretend you’re nestled away on an estate in France, and not a short drive from the downtown core.

Big Selling Point: Score the same epic façade, manicured garden and winding driveway as other Bridle Path mansions with all the perks of condo-style living, like a concierge, a fitness center, an indoor pool, a car wash and valet parking.

Possible Deal Breaker: Private balconies coupled with private elevator access into the suite mean you may never get a chance to meet the neighbours.

By the Numbers:
• $3,995,000
• 4,400-square feet
• $4,328.21 in monthly maintenance fees
• 10-foot ceilings
• 3 parking spaces
• 3 bathrooms
• 2 bedrooms
• 2 balconies
• 1 private elevator
• 1 storage locker

Yikes… you would have to gut the kitchen unless you are 60 years old. This is such an awful layout. Does the concierge park your car, do your laundry and press the elevator button for that maint fee ?

The kitchen is a classic functional design son ;p. As for the maintenance fee…more transparency

The kitchen is nice, but there better be trainers in the gym working out my body 7 days a week, and hand job machines in the elevators to justify those condo-fees
