The Ontario Municipal Board approves a student residence, “destroys” a neighbourhood

“We get fucked by the OMB and we get fucked by the university, and we’re about to get screwed again by the developer.”

Ceta Ramkhalawansingh, a member of the Grange Community Association, telling the Star what she thinks about a recent Ontario Municipal Board decision that clears the way for the construction of a 25-storey private student residence on College Street, south of the University of Toronto. Residents fear that the development, which had previously been rejected by the city, will attract noisy, messy tenants.

CORRECTION: This post originally used an incorrect pronoun to refer to Ceta Ramkhalawansingh.

Professional whiner. Have a Snickers, Ceta. You forgot being fucked by Wynne. And that part of Toronto is clean?

  • ProudCanuck

Hi Ceta, Remember diversity makes Canada the greatest country on earth and this also applies to our community we live in. As an immigrant myself 40 years ago, I remember how people was so paranoid about gays and lesbians living near our neighbourhood and you know what we are dead wrong, they is so much PRIDE in me today to share with these beautiful people. You are going to be dead wrong with the students, remember where we came from and people were afraid of us living in their neighbourhoods when we just immigrated. Learn to share, is a good thing.

    well said

Rico, by student residence the article isn’t referring to the remedial boarding school your parents dumped you at for grade school. This will be a building full of snotty 18-20yr olds who albeit smarter than you are more likely to kick you in the head than drop a quarter in your panhandle.

  • Billy Frontenac

Again you are so rude Rico. Didn’t your Mom teach you better? Perhaps you needed to be disciplined more as a baby. Grow up you small tiny nothing of a man.

  • N Lang

    P.S. Wynne kicks butt!

  • Rico_Featherbutt

    You spelled “licks” wrong.

  • Rico_Featherbutt

LOL street cred, eh? And to answer your proposal, wrong and wrong. I like your two replies. Couldn’t consolidate them into a single presentation? Is this a demonstration of such smarts?

Now I know you didn’t go to university. Most of them actually are decent people getting an education so that they don’t have to rely on the Liberal handouts. And they don’t run off to government for jobs either. And boarding schools are usually the types of places that fill universities. Nothing remedial about them, not that you would know.

  • Rico_Featherbutt

Billy, try to read the article. Shit, did you even read the title? Was your mom even home? What was she doing? I had plenty of discipline as a kid. You, on the other hand, had none as you obviously have no brains to even read what was written. That’s a good place to start.

And when you do attempt to try to read the title, you would realize that I was merely copying the quotation. But leave it to a Liberal to have a double standard in a day when “everybody’s equal” and civil liberties and yet another rights movement is under way. Next it will be lies and cheating so that you can become a true feminist.

I only come across as rude to people that have no clue. Don’t eat the clumps in the sandbox, Billy. And try to keep up.

Government jobs are filled by hard working people who understand better than anyone how a good society functions. Rico, if your expenses are high work harder or move to the middle east where your taxes are non-existent along with your human rights. Boarding schools are for parentless children paying excessive tuition for the sole purpose of fostering your progressive conservative values of getting bailed out of life’s troubles by daddy, disrespecting those not paying 10x avg university tuition for grade six, and taking instruction from pedophiles who fondle them for hobby. Great start to life Rico, explains a lot.

  • Rico_Featherbutt

That has got to be the most crap I’ve read in a long time. People in government barely work, so working hard is laughable. I’ve pitched government on projects and they are the most ignorant self-absorbed zeros I have ever met. And try not to assume anything about business (expenses are high?), because you obviously know nothing about that either. You have the business mind of a government worker. Which also is demonstrated by the Ontario Liberals. You know, ignorant of simple math. You also know nothing about private schools. But your pessimist conspiracy theories got the best of you. How predictable. The best leaders in Canada go to private school, but I guess you missed that. 10x average university tuition for grade six? Can you translate that into English? I have more education than you could possibly know and you make no sense.

ESL? Public school? Drug addict? Artist? Ya, predictable. Get a job and stop demanding that the general public owes you something. If you actually relied on your merits instead of your government-employed aunt for a job, you would actually have to work for a living and be measured through performance, not because feminists mandate “diversity” into the workplace, which it is not.

Sounds like you pitch gov projects and lose badly thanks to your bus mind. Avg univ tuition excl grad school which you must have attended and failed to capitalize on. Shame they don’t offer refunds. You should pitch your old private school on offering yourself as a failed former student so others avoid your fate. Doesn’t likely pay much but I’m confident you’ll be a huge success.

  • Rico_Featherbutt

To be honest, it’s the staff at the MTO that have absolutely no clue what any company is in Canada. I’ve fully capitalized on my first two degrees, by far. I actually enjoyed watching someone buying one of my products not an hour ago.

You, have a lifetime of begging for government money. Well done. Maybe you can juggle at Dundas Square, but that takes initiative.
