Job seeker accidentally sends a photo of Nicolas Cage instead of her resumé

Vanessa Hojda made us laugh today: the Toronto job seeker accidentally uploaded a photograph of Nicolas Cage to her job application and hit send. The picture, in which Cage looks absolutely possessed, contrasts beautifully with Hodja’s polite email stating that she attached a resumé and cover letter for consideration. Oddly, instead of following up with the potential employer (which looks to be York University), Hodja posted a screengrab to her Tumblr and, of course, it went viral. When the Washington Post asked Hodja about this whole mess, she said, “It’s been a weird day.” A pretty tame reaction—we’d have gone for a full Cage-style meltdown. [h/t Washington Post]
