Even diners who fall outside the restaurant’s moneyed middle-aged man target demographic will feel comfortable at Jacobs: the service is so polished, kind and knowledgeable that anyone would. That said, the airy yet clubby room and tables bare of anything not essential to the consumption of charred flesh are designed for men planning to eat a lot of steak. They’re greeted first by the impressive wine list, then by warm white cheddar popovers topped with roasted garlic and oregano butter. Extraordinary steaks include a Canadian prime Hereford tenderloin so supple it practically dissolves and a transcendent 38-day-aged USDA rib-eye. Sides, like everything else, are enormous. Intensely buttery, thyme-flecked creamed corn overshadows the popular, albeit aggressively salted, duck-fat fries. A frozen lemon torte is a refreshing dessert, though you’ll also need room for the truffles brought with the bill.

The food at Jacobs is spectacular. For the price you pay, you eat very well. The service is some of the best I've ever received in the city. We were well taken care of. I'm surprised it has only received 3 stars!

Not sure why this only has 3 stars, its THE BEST steak house in toronto.
Must try- caeser salad which is prepared table side, i know its a weird thing to recommend at a steak house but its amazing!!!
