A casual alternative to Little Italy’s traditional Italian restaurants and clubby bars, Utopia is the kind of place where no-nonsense, efficient servers answer “No worries” to just about every request and busy themselves during down time by changing up the indie music. Huge, hearty salads, nachos, burritos, burgers and sandwiches are the mainstays. None is revelatory, but all are well-prepared, enormous and affordable. The curried potato and chickpea burrito, served with a tamarind dipping sauce, is like a giant samosa (in the best possible way).
