Overcharged, underwhelmed by Charles from Tdot on 2014-02-15
"The food was ok, the portions were not (and my buddy makes better eggs benny). The place would benefit if they spent less time worrying about style, more on substance. $3.50 for cup of Red Rose tea..."
It's spelled s-e-r-v-i-c-e by Joan from Toronto on 2013-09-26
"Mediocre food, bad wine list and absolutely rotten service spoiled our evening. TL critics, whom we normally trust, really dropped the ball on this one. If it stays in business, it will be strictly because of the Junction crowd thrilled to have something up from Galaxy Donuts in their 'hood."

We will never go back by Ian from Toronto on 2013-08-15
Four of us went to dinner a couple of weeks ago. We had all been there once before and had great meals. This time, they had run out of half of there entrees by 8:30. The only meat left on the menu was the burger, which was dry and flavourless.
We told the server of our dissatisfaction and, to her credit, she was sympathetic. Then we got our bill. Knowing how unhappy we were, she did NOTHING to compensate for it. She charged us full fare. No free dessert or free coffee. NOTHING to mitigate how upset we were.
I sent an email to the restaurant explaining our bad experience and they didn't even have the courtesy to reply.
There are so many good restaurants in this city that I would avoid Farmhouse. You may get a good meal or you may not. What is certain is they are so arrogant that if you get a bad meal, the only bone they throw you for your (expensive) bill is "too bad"."
Dissappointing by Lia from Christie and Bloor on 2013-08-03
I had steak and eggs; actually I had only half steak; the rest was fat and the meat was of poor quality. Spices: non-existent; not even salt.
Service: nothing special.
Price: too expensive for what it is.
Some of the Best Food in all of Toronto! by Kate Compton from The Junction on 2013-04-16
"Farmnhouse Tavern is a true gem in the Junction and I'm absolutely spoiled to have them in my backyard. Brunch or dinner is always stellar and as a chef myself, obsessed with optimal food quality, seasonal and local ingredients, Farmhouse Tavern tops my list by satisfying every criteria when I'm looking for a delicious and satisfying plate of food! Simply great."

Hungry by Mary from Toronto, On on 2012-09-23
"Went for brunch this weekend. First disappointment = no tea. None.
Second disappointment = our server forgot to up sell so we ended up having pancakes/ french toast with no breakfast meat. Third disappointment = we all left hungry.
The food was delicious but there was not nearly enough. And I'm sorry but any farm I've been to, people drink tea as well as coffee."
