With an 11-page beverage menu, a second book devoted to more than a dozen gins and gin cocktails, wines stacked floor-to-ceiling and a DJ playing dance music mid-week, Reds is more Bay Street bar than tavern. The lobster guacamole is tangy with lime and brings lots of tender meat. Flaky miso-glazed cod comes with pickled veg, sushi rice and a fiery ginger purée. Three flavour-packed beef sliders are decadent with truffle aïoli, melted gruyère and brie, and golden buns. A beautifully rare 14-ounce Ontario rib-eye arrives with parmesan-dusted truffled frites, wild mushrooms and a baby kale salad. Sticky toffee pudding is satisfying but not too sweet, and the flourless chocolate cake is delicious, like a super-dense mousse. Signature drinks are well made and creative; service is friendly and attentive.

"Went here for a girlfriend's birthday and sat on the patio for some summer drinks and appetizers. We all really liked the big outdoor patio and thought the decor was really funky and modern. There were some cool drink promos going on for the summer that we all enjoyed!"

Perfect Place for Patio Drinks by Kelly from Toronto on 2013-06-21

"Came to Red's the other night for a girlfriend's birthday and could not have chosen a better place for the outing. The patio decor was really trendy with bottle chandeliers and warm heaters close by so we could still enjoy the breeze. Our waitress was so friendly and gave us a great variety of drink recommendations based on all of our preferences. I don't usually drink Gin, but the Gin and Green Tea Mojito was fabulous! - the perfect summer patio cocktail. We ordered a variety of appetizers to share...the quality of food was excellent, and the portion sizes were perfect as well. Sometimes I find restaurants to be a bit stingy on the amount of food served when ordering shared plates, but Red's got it right! I will definitely be going back to try the lobster guacamole!"

Great Restaurant For a Girls Night! by Eileen from Toronto on 2013-06-21

"I went here the other night for a girls night and had a fantastic time. My girlfriends and I indulged in the "shareables" plates, trying Reds wide variety of seafood plates. Whether it's their generous cocktails or extensive assortment of appetizers, Reds is a great place for any group of girls looking to have a gathering. I will definitely be returning!"
