Sterling 2006 Cabernet Sauvignon
Sterling Napa fell out of fashion due to a long period of unremarkable quality. The label is now regaining its stature thanks to reds like this hefty, dense cabernet with ripe aromas of blackcurrant, prune, chocolate, cedar, leather and cigar box. It’s full bodied, tannic but juicy, with excellent length. Drinkable now, but cellar a couple of bottles. Best 2011 to 2015. Vintages Essentials. LCBO 314575
