Robert Mondavi 2005 Private Selection Chardonnay
Mondavi has always sought a lighter, more French feel than many of its California peers. Works here with a delicate feel, despite 13.5 per cent alcohol and generous, quite complex flavours of yellow pear, banana, butter and tobacco-like spice. Very good length.
