This is tasty, sturdy young zin with typical blackberry and plum hints, dashes of pepper and cedar, plus mint and vanilla—more complexity than expected for the money. It’s mid-weight, taut and a bit youthfully tannic, but not without fruit charm. Best 2009 to 2011. LCBO 489278
