Bonterra 2006 Cabernet Sauvignon

Organic wines tend to have more concentrated flavours, as yields are usually lower. This one is no exception. It has a lovely nose of peony, plum, raspberry, light vanilla and not much cabernet greenness. It’s medium weight, sweetish and a bit hot, with a slightly gritty texture. Loads of fruit flavour running to very good, almost excellent length. Best 2010 to 2014. Vintages Essentials. LCBO 342428
