The old standby has improved recently. Generous aromas of marzipan, pear, earth and toasty, slightly garlicky notes. Mumm NV Cordon Rouge Brut is medium-full bodied, elegant, a touch sweet. Very finely honed structure, yet opulent flavours. Excellent length.
