Inexpensive Aussie “bubbles” are expected to be fruity and sweet. But this one defies expectation with a solid, chunky feel. The nose is reserved, with vague apple crisp and chalky mineral notes. It’s dry, clean and fresh, but blunt nonetheless. LCBO 562991
