New listing. Like so many Cape reds, it has intensity for the money, but lacks poise. Aromas blast from the glass: clove, smoke, burnt toast, blackberry, mineral and gamy-meaty-pepperoni character. It’s medium-full bodied, dense, vibrant and tannic, with candied fruit and burnt coffee on the finish. LCBO 36772
