Nederburg 2006 Cabernet Sauvignon

There is some of the antiseptic–Band Aid note often found in South African reds, which some find disturbing. But there are plenty of other elements, as well: blackcurrant, plum, black and red pepper, and cab herbaceousness expressed as evergreen. Offers a lot of stuffing for the money, with considerable alcohol, tannin and ripe, sweet fruit, but the elements are not well integrated. Age it two years. LCBO 111526
