KWV 2008 Café Culture Pinotage
Some love this oak-drenched “Starbucks” red, while some detest its unabashed oakiness. It is a very smoky, roasted-coffee and chocolatey-sweet confection—hence the name. But this wine also shows some lifted floral, pomegranate-blackberry tastes of the native pinotage grape. It’s full bodied, rounded and packed with flavour. Excellent length and presence. Vintages.
