KWV 2007 Chenin Blanc
The quality still impresses for under $8 as it catches the pear and apple fruit of chenin and boosts it with more tropical banana-pineapple. Unfortunately, a bit of sulphur-related wet wool character blurs the purity. It’s lightweight, smooth and a little sweetish, with a waxy feel and good length. LCBO 18689
