Drostdy - Hof 2008 Merlot
While Drostdy-Hof’s generous merlot has that distinctive tarry Cape character, it also shows complex blackberry, smoke, chocolate and leather aromas and flavours. Medium to full-bodied, a touch sweet, yet sinewy and dry. Good concentration for the money. Will age to 2012, maybe longer. LCBO 345371
