Drostdy - Hof 2007 Chardonnay
Very few other chardonnays offer as much weight, oak-driven complexity and concentration for under $10. Deep colour is the first clue. Then comes a powerful nose of ripe apple, sponge toffee and sawdust. Medium-full bodied, fleshy yet dry, with a dusty, very spicy, slightly hot finish. Very good to excellent length. LCBO 343202
