Quite muscular merlot, with the grape’s tea-like aroma perhaps overemphasized. Lots of ripe plum, black cherry, dried herbs and dark chocolate as well. Medium-full bodied, fairly dense, with dry tannin. Good now to 2009. LCBO 345371
