BELLINGHAM 2007 SHIRAZ VIOGNIER
The most elegant Cape red at the LCBO, Bellingham effortlessly melds ripe black cherry, vanilla and smoky oak. Plus, the addition of some white viognier nicely tames this big red. There is good tannin structure for cellaring, but it’s also ready to enjoy now. Good focus and very good length. And if you spy the 2008 vintage on the shelf, go for it—this wine has performed very well for years. LCBO 554360
