STONELEIGH 2009 SAUVIGNON BLANC
Stoneleigh always makes a solid sauvignon, and the 2009 vintage combines N.Z. sauvignon’s typical passion fruit note with fresh-cut grass and mouth-watering minerality that comes from the particularly old and stony riverbed vineyards in Marlborough. It’s lively and crisp, with some mid-palate fruit and warmth. The refreshing finish is slightly bitter, with a light grapefruit note. Very good length. LCBO 293043
