Price Description
From the deep south comes a very ripe, oak-aged montelpulciano (don’t confuse the grape with the Tuscan town). Deeply coloured red with maturing nose of sour blackberry, mushroom and leather. The wine is full bodied and rich, with bitter chocolate and dry, chalky tannin. Very good flavour persistence. Vintages Essential.
