This chianti offers good complexity for the money in a leaner style. Lifted truffle and meaty aromas amid pepper and dried cran-cherry fruit. The wine is light to mid-weight, piquant and juicy, with tartish cranberry acidity. Quite tannic, spicy. Good length.
