Often overlooked, overperforming producer. New vintage is a solid, elegant ripasso (valpolicella refermented on the lees of amarones) with calm, soothing aromas of cherry, saddle leather and dried herbs. Medium-full bodied, smooth and rich. Very good to excellent length, with a mineral edge. Enjoy now to 2010.
