Lighter weight sangiovese from Montalcino, the home of brunello, which makes Tuscany’s biggest reds. Soft, gentle, sweet cherry-berry fruit, nicely embroidered with new oak, vanilla, cedar and herbs. Medium weight, gentle and warm, with a spicy, dry and mineral finish. Very good length. Best 2008 to 2010. LCBO 201855
