FARNESE 2009 DAUNIA SANGIOVESE
The 2009 vintage offers terrific value once again. Deeper and richer than sangiovese from Tuscany, the Abruzzi example has youthful sour plum and raspberry notes. It’s full, smooth and a touch sweet—that sour Italian edge is toned down. Needs a year but can be enjoyed now. LCBO 512327
