Price Description
Scored 91 and pegged at number 97 in Wine Spectator’s Top 100 of 2007, a ranking of “the year’s most exciting wines.” Perrin has disappointed me lately but reaffirms with this blend of 75 per cent old-vine grenache and syrah from a great vintage. It has a complex nose of black cherry, vanilla, pipe tobacco, camphor and pepper. The poised mid-palate runs into a wall of youthful tannin and minerality on the finish. Excellent length. Best 2010 to 2013.
