A classy lightly oaked chardonnay with lifted grapefruit, pear, fennel and light woodsmoke on the nose. Medium weight, with fresh lemon-grapefruit, some creaminess and alcohol warmth. Mineral finish reflects the region’s limestone soils. Very good length. Best now to 2010. LCBO 56580
