Miguel Torres 2007 Santa Digna Cabernet Sauvignon Reserve
In 1979, Spaniard Miguel Torres pioneered modern Chilean wine by opening the first temperature-controlled, stainless steel and French oak–equipped winery. There’s a lighter, more elegant feel to this cabernet, but it’s packed with ripe blackcurrant-cherry notes, as well as herbs, black licorice and oak. Drink now to 2012. Try with roast lamb.
