ERRAZURIZ 2008 MAX RESERVA CABERNET SAUVIGNON
From older vines planted on founder Don Maxi¬miano’s estate, this cab sauv shows lovely, sweet, ripe notes of blackcurrant, cedar, light chocolate and fresh juniper. It’s open knit, smooth and very generous for $13, with some alcohol heat on the palate. It finishes with tannic bitterness and greenness; very good length, but with the stuffing to age, as well.
