Errazuriz 2006 Max Reserva Carmenère
Generous new oak has added fragrant coffee, toasty and peppery notes that battle the spinach-rapini greenness in this example of a late-ripening carmenère. But there is also dense blackcurrant. Full bodied and sinewy, with a spicy, green finish. Excellent length. Best 2009 to 2012. LCBO 16238
