CONCHA Y TORO 2009 XPLORADOR CARMENERE
This new label, sporting a big X, is yet another wine from Chile’s largest winery. It has good depth and vibrancy, with classic carmenère cassis fruit, mint and a touch of dark chocolate. It’s medium-full and dense, with sweet-and-sour tension. A bit green on the finish, but well done for $10. LCBO 177816
