CONCHA Y TORO 2008 MARQUES DE CASA CONCHA CABERNET SAUVIGNON

When first poured, this cab sauv looks almost black. It has a muted ripe nose of overripe cassis and prune, with dried mossy-herbal and meaty notes. It’s full bodied and dense, with heat and gritty green tannin. Not a lot of joy now, and it doesn’t have the fruit integrity to age well. A disappointment after the stellar 2007. Vintages Essentials.
