Concha Y Toro 2007 Casillero Del Diablo Shiraz
Chilean shiraz is as dark and dense as Aussie versions but often more vibrant, with a greener, more peppery edge. This, however, is a rich, soft version with considerable coffee and tar from the oak, as well as pepper and dried cherry. It’s medium-full bodied and initially smooth, with a dry, gritty tannic finish. Now to 2012. LCBO 568055
